We do, however, encourage you to bring your own machine, if you have one, as it means you can get to grips with your machine and continue with your sewing journey at home!
Adults sewing class
These classes are open to adults of all abilities. The classes are held at Kington Grange Claverdon on Wednesday's. There are two classes to choose from:
Wednesday afternoons 12.30pm - 2.30pm
Wednesday Evenings 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Classes are sold in 2 monthly blocks (priced on the number of weeks in each period).
You can come to as many of as few of the classes as you'd like to within the 2 months, obviously the more classes you can make the lower the weekly price works out to be (£15)
There are two teachers in class, both whom have a wealth of knowledge in sewing and teaching. We have a range of sewists from new to slightly more experienced.
Most attendees bring their own projects to work on, ranging from smaller present type items, to larger items such as clothing, bags, dog beds and memory items!
We also have lots of suggested projects to get everyone started on their sewing journey, if you are a bit unsure of what to start making.
We have a range of sewing machines available to use, as well as overlockers if clothing is something you would like to learn how to make.
We do, however, encourage you to bring your own machine, if you have one, as it means you can get to grips with your machine and continue with your sewing journey at home!
