After your dip, come into the barn to warm up with a hot drink and a welcoming atmosphere.

FAQs about the lake;

  • Use the button above ‘ explore dates & book’ - this will take you through to through to a payment section of our site.

  • Yes, the first time you swim you will be asked to read and sign for insurance purposes. This captures your emergency contact details which are kept on file in case they are required.

  • Typically people change at there car, or take their belongings to the waters edge. Should the wear be poor there is an open garage area where visitors can change. Toilet facilities are available within the barn where guests are invited to take tea / hot chocolate / coffee post swim.

  • It’s a man made clay lined lake which was created over 100 yrs ago. The Lake itself is spring fed - with a continuous spring feed year round. In 2023 there was a renovation project for the pond which included draining, dredging, cutting back dead trees and managing the banks. Finally we installed the steps. To keep the lake in it’s beautifully clear condition managing the pond weed is the major maintenance activity. We assess the quality of the water regularly and test the water to ensure it complies with the open water swimming guidance. To read more about this head over to our blog piece.

  • There is parking for circa 30 cars within the Kington Grange site (when carefully parked). All guests must park within the gated property and not on the bridle way or lane.

Sample Itinerary
  • Workshop participants ease into the day with creative prompts and a welcome circle to get grounded and set the tone.

  • Our first session focuses on the foundations of floral design. From tool basics to flower care and simple composition tips, you’ll start building confidence and finding your creative rhythm.

  • Participants will be responsible for brining their own lunch, but we'll provide water and some additional snacks throughout the day.

  • With the basics fresh, we’ll dive into hands-on arranging. We’ll explore shape, scale, and movement while encouraging personal style through floral design.

  • To close the day, you’ll create a final piece to share with the group. We’ll reflect on your process and celebrate the creativity that unfolded.
