The Mystery of the Secret Escritoire - Room 6:

This ‘oh wow’ ensuite bedroom, vibrantly decorated in orange and cerise toile de joie wallpaper is one of the very many things which made the current owners fell in love with Kington Grange.

It is an ensuite bedroom located in the old cheese attic (2nd floor) of The Manor House and accessed via a 2nd narrow staircase from the 1st floor. Its window is east facing and overlooks the Kington Grange barns.

The room is complimented by a secret writing desk and a cerise velvet sofa. The old cheese hanging hooks are still visible on the main oak beam…just right for a cheesy, cosy crime!

Finding the access door from the bedroom to the modern ensuite shower room is a challenge and we guarantee discovery of this cute door will bring a smile to your face.

Guests should be confident climbing a narrow staircase, we can send photos if required.
