So, you’re thinking of choosing The Traitor’s Rest’ located on the first floor in The Manor House? The grandest of all our gorgeous bedrooms with an equally impressive En-suite. Both rooms are bright and spacious and have 4 large, south facing windows which overlook the walled garden and countryside beyond.

Thoughtfully furnished with a huge, comfortable super-king size bed or it can be configured as a twin if you prefer. Enjoy using our antique pieces of furniture (some of which have their own little secrets) and even an inherited gold chandelier. In the modern En-suite there’s a roll top bath, walk in shower and twin basins, plus the owners renovated clothes press and Granny’s Lloyd Loom chair. Historically it is most likely that Robert Catesby, a previous owner and one of the Gunpowder plotters would have slept in this room, which is in the centre of the house and directly above the conspirators dining hall.
