If you’ve been part of the Kington Grange story for a while, you’ll know how much we love sharing this beautiful home and its grounds with you. Well, we have some exciting news - The Times has featured us in their list of “Eleven of the UK’s best cottages with pools - with availability”.

It’s always a joy to welcome guests here, but it’s extra special when our little corner of Warwickshire gets recognised on such a big stage. Here’s what they had to say:

“If wilder swimming appeals, without the faff of Dryrobes or wetsuits or simply being caught out in the buff, consider the delightful swimming lake at this grand seven-bedroom country house, parts of which date to the 16th century. The garden room looks over the expansive natural pool, as well as a grass tennis court. There is a hot tub too, in case you overexert yourself. Flagstones and exposed oak beams contrast with the contemporary decor inside, lending the house a lived-in charm, perfect for large groups. Bedrooms are named after Shakespearean characters, and Stratford-upon-Avon is nearby for visiting Bard-related sites.”

Those of you who’ve sat in the garden room with a coffee, watching the sun hit the pond, will know exactly why this space gets mentioned . The wild swimming spot has been a summer favourite for so many of you - and for anyone who’s skipped the wetsuit (the swimsuit…), you’ll know exactly what they mean about not being caught out in the buff.

The tennis court, the hot tub, the mix of Tudor character and modern comfort - it’s all part of what makes this place more than just a house. It’s somewhere that holds your moments, whether that’s a family gathering, a creative shoot, or a well-earned quiet escape.
